Xiamen, May 9th (China News Service) - On May 9th, the 2025 Xiamen Industrial Expo and the 29th Cross Strait Machinery and Electronics Fair (referred to as the "Xiamen Industrial Expo") opened at the Xiamen International Expo Center.

It is reported that this year's Xiamen International Trade Fair, hosted and organized by Xiamen International Trade and Exhibition Group, has a total exhibition area of 76000 square meters and attracted more than 800 domestic and foreign enterprises to participate. It further focuses on "new quality productivity and new industrialization", showcases innovative achievements in cutting-edge fields such as intelligent manufacturing, new energy equipment, and digital economy, and builds an industrial ecosystem connecting the two sides of the Taiwan Strait and radiating globally with the attitude of "industrial diversity and intelligent future".

Li Qi, Vice President of the China Machinery Industry Federation, pointed out that Taiwan has a good industrial foundation and strong competitiveness in precision machining machinery, functional components, electronic control systems, and other fields. In addition, this year's Xiamen Industrial Fair will also hold events such as the 2025 Strait Industry Forum, the Intelligent Innovation Driven Mold New Quality and Capacity Technology Forum, and the 3D Printing Intelligent Manufacturing Industry Forum, creating an international level industrial ecosystem platform that integrates technology transformation, commercial cooperation, and industrial upgrading.
